Camp lawroweld

Established 1947

New Adventures Await in 2022

Dear Friends of Lawroweld,

Happy anniversary! Under the leadership of the first Camp Director, David Shaw, the first junior camp was held in July of 1947. I guess you could say, "the rest is history"! We are celebrating 75 years of camp ministry this summer and we are eternally grateful for the legacy of excellence of those who came before us.  I recently met an individual who had been a camper at Lawroweld over 60 years ago but hadn't been back since. One of his first questions was, "is the lodge still there"? I assured him that our gem was still sitting pretty on the hill. Without skipping a beat, he looked me in the eye and said, "that was one of the best weeks of my life". That's it. That is why we exist. If you have the opportunity to come to camp this summer, I pray it is the best week of your life.

Your Friend in Christ,

Trevor Schlisner, Lawroweld Director

Beautiful Camp Lawroweld is nestled near the base of the Tumbledown-Big Jackson-Little Jackson mountain range and has nearly 1,000 feet of frontage on Lake Webb.  The camp property sprawls over 200 acres of land that has an eclectic mix of hardwood and softwood trees. Built in 1930, the lodge is a spectacular work of craftsmanship constructed of weathered fieldstone and solid rock maple logs. We are certain that you will be blessed by enjoying the natural beauty and Christ-centered programs that make Camp Lawroweld, "The Greatest Place on Earth".
