Required Dates
Staff are required to arrive by 2pm on Sunday, June 7, 2026 to begin the summer!
- Staff Orientation/Camp Meeting Pitch/Lifeguard Recertification | June 7 - 18, 2026
- Camp Meeting in Freeport | June 19 - 27, 2026
- Junior Camp (ages 8-13) | June 28 - July 5, 2026
- Teen Camp (ages 13-17) | July 5 - 12, 2026
- Family Camp 1 (all ages) | July 12 - 19, 2026
- Family Camp 2 (all ages) | July 19 - 26, 2026
- Blind Camp (ages 9-90) | July 26 - Aug. 2, 2026
Apply to be Staff
There are such fond memories at Camp Lawroweld, that many former campers desire to work at camp as they get older. That is why the vast majority of staff each year were at one time a camper. Camp Lawroweld predominantly hires college-aged students that have a conviction to serve youth and families for the cause of Jesus Christ. While not perfect, the staff aims to reflect Christ in word and action. There is little turnover each year, but we encourage you to apply!
